This community was born at the time when MMORPGs were transitioning from 2D/anisotropic form of Ultima Online and even text-based MUDs towards full-blown 3D seamless continuous worlds of Lineage II by NCSOFT and later World of Warcraft by Blizzard. Internet was not as good globally as today, that resulted into creation of multiple local gamers' communities and also local gaming servers run on emulated open-source software. These were not ideal and always lagged behind of what was available on official servers but yet, created much cozier and familiar localized atmospheres. As administrating entity of such gaming service and community company stuff had run infrastructure, marketing, offline and online events, community management as well as in-game fair-play game mastering. In almost 8 years of its existence community counted for more than 10 thousand players and peaked at about 3 thousand of simultaneous online in same virtual world.
