Kyocera Solar, Inc. was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona with regional sales centers in the U.S., Brazil, and Australia. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kyocera International, Inc. of San Diego, the North American headquarters and holding company for Kyocera Corporation, based in Kyoto, Japan.
