KOSMA was developed because there was no professional software available for film production people. Movie Magic Budgeting just doesn’t do the whole job. Excel is great, but not for managing project finances. Other solutions like SESAM in Germany are limited to local use. It just couldn’t be that while in all other areas of film production they have expensive state-of-the-art software tools, production people still handle their budgets like 20 years ago. Founders Valentin Greutert and Alex Haid combine the business knowledge and the technical knowledge that was needed to undertake this challenge. KOSMA is the next generation budget management software, making the management of film finances more easy, precise and efficient. Their team of product development experts, programmers and customer support specialists is now working towards making KOSMA known all over Europe.
