Kindy is a smartphone application that enables users to find, book, and pay for pre-screen local nannies and baby sitters. The mobile app checks its nannies against government databases and photo IDs, letting parents know with a verified badge on the carer’s profile. After each shift, parents can leave a review for the carer to share their experience with the rest of the community. Kindy is available on both iOS and Android profiles. It services parents in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, and Darwin. Kindy was launched by Hugh Podmore and Kristian Tasevski in 2014.
