Kimle Aquaculture is building a full-scale research and development demonstration production facility in Iowa that utilizes an algae-based recirculating aquaculture system. The use of this technology in aquaculture solves many of the challenges currently facing producers by simplifying operations, lowering operating costs, and lowering the minimum economically viable facility size.
