KTL has a patented electrocoagulation technology to remove Fats, Oil and Grease (FOG) from aqueous waste streams. We treat waste streams on industrial sites, before discharge to sewer and are targeting the food and hydrocarbons sectors. Operating costs are a fraction of chemical coagulation. Many proof-of-concept trials have been undertaken in the UK and we are currently running proof-ofconcept trials in Ireland in the fish, meat and dairy sectors: independent laboratory results show FOG levels are reduced by >90%. TSS and COD are also minimised
