Juhl Clean Energy Assets is a specialized company focused solely on the acquisition and ownership of clean energy assets, including wind, solar, small hydro, combined heat and power, and energy storage solutions. The company focuses on owning projects that supply clean power to select markets such as co-op and municipal utilities and commercial, industrial, university, and health care campuses. JCEA is Juhl’s second asset company and follows on the success of its first asset company, Juhl Renewable Assets, Inc (JRAI). JRAI owned and operated a portfolio of 50MW of mid-sized wind farms that were successfully sold in January 2017 and used to repay capital and redeem the preferred stock of its investors.
