JFS was established in 1915 to assist newly arriving immigrants. Today, our agency provides services to families and individuals from all walks of life, to solve problems regardless of religious, ethnic, or socio-economic background. We operate with a $2.9 million budget, with over 40 staff members and two offices in Springfield serving Hampden county, an outreach office in Northampton serving Hampshire and Franklin counties and an office in Pittsfield serving Berkshire county.
