Jamlist was developed because the founders, through experience, knew that the supply chain was diffracted and disorganised and that the procurement process needed revamping. The marketplace consists of a series of vendor shopfronts through which buyers can source product and services and then buy these through the platform, reducing the need for middlemen. Our initial audience are SME buyers within the hospitality industry who have access to global vendors of all sizes. In the future, we aim to also target larger buyers. The future lies in fulfilment and creating a transparent model that reduces the need for individual distributors and gives all manufacturers equal access to buyers.
