Issman gives the idea of making a Quality Assurance System for construction was based on a well-known problem. Earlier construction managers used post-it notes to mark defects on site, a digital camera to take photos, write down notes on paper and then merge it all into a report to communicate with colleagues and project leaders. Back in 2012 Kristian decided to do this a whole lot smarter by integrating all workflows in one single app, which allow users to do all quality assurance on site.
