Declaration of Internet Freedom is an online declaration in defense of online freedoms signed by a number of prominent organizations and individuals. They believe that a free and open Internet can bring about a better world. To keep the Internet free and open, they call on communities, industries and countries to recognize these principles. They are joining an international movement in 2012. It supports five internet policies: non-censorship of the internet; universal access to fast and affordable networks; freedom to connect, communicate, create, and innovate over the internet; protection for new technologies and innovators whose innovations are abused by users; and privacy rights and the ability for internet user to control information about them is used.
