mission of Imprimis Pharmaceuticals is to improve patient health and their quality of life by working with innovative compounding pharmacists and drug developers to commercialize compounded drug formulations. We are also focused on leveraging Accudel, a patented topical drug delivery platform, that enables highly targeted site specific treatment. Why are we focused on topical drug delivery? Because delivering medicines locally to a specific site in the body instead of swallowing a pill, for example, allows for a reduction in problematic side effects often associated with systemic delivery. We believe our focus on compounded drug formulations and topical drug delivery improves patient health and quality of life.
