iinside was founded in 1999 by ex-NASA scientists who were instrumental in the creation of today’s GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) framework. As experts in outside and inside positioning technologies, they brought with them patents for motion detection and queuing solutions which have provided for the foundation of iinside’s ability to track, monitor and provide analytical insights into pedestrian movements. After several years of providing human flow solutions for the tourism and retail segments, iinside entered the airport industry in 2013. iinside has since grown to become the North America leader in airport queuing wait times and passenger flow intelligence
