IDXIE is short for Integral Dynamics Industries & Engineering. IDXIE LLC, a Florida based organization is the successor of the Integral Dynamics division of General-Propulsion Corp. Inc., a Canadian defence contractor engineering group. IDXIE was created to commercialize the peace-dividend technologies developed at the Integral Dynamics division of General-Propulsion for naval power and propulsion systems.
