Want to meet the most eccentric combination of design and culture? Meet Vaidas & Laurelle Budvytis – the founders of Meraki – who are from Lithuania and South Africa. Being from such unusual cultures, they share an awe for the colours of the world and draw inspiration from each other and their travels. They’re all about an international culture, a colourful, interconnected world, beige babies and travel adventures! Each Meraki item is handmade in either Lithuania or South Africa using handwoven fabric from local artisans. Meraki incorporates traditional fabrics into contemporary design – thus making each product both unique and vibrant. Be both afro-chic and boldly baltic… because life is too short to wear grey!
