IAB Turkey is the Turkish arm of the Interactive Advertisement Bureau (IAB), an international interactive advertising and digital marketing organization based in the U.S. IAB Turkey's main purpose is to establish the interactive advertising and digital marketing industry in Turkey and to support its development. Its primary activities include: developing industry standards and rules; creating mechanisms to supervise and regulate digital marketing communications; creating programs to overcome the shortage of human resources in advertising and digital marketing sector; and establishing close contact with public institutions to gather ideas and opinions about legal regulations. IAB Turkey was established in October 2007 with 23 representatives. It has since expanded to over 100 members who work with advertisers and media agencies in Turkey.
