Hurl Development LLC develops Hurl, a social media platform that transforms web enabled TV screens into internet video jukeboxes that multiple users control with the Hurl smartphone app. Viewers interact with each other's clips while they play on the big screen via real-time, on-screen popups that show DJ names, viewer likes or dislikes and live comments. Users of the Hurl smartphone app can even “skip vote” videos, which instantly stops playback and launches the next clip in the queue. The Hurl experience is targeted at public and private spaces but requires a licensed subscription for commercial use. A premium hurl subscription gives screen owners access to Hurl's In-house Promotions System and Admin Control Panel (explicit content controls, queue limits, etc).
