Hot Neuron operates as an information retrieval software and services company. It is a Pennsylvania Limited Liability Company was founded by Bill Dimm in February 2000, who has a Ph.D. in theoretical elementary particle physics from Cornell University. Dr. Dimm worked in the interest rate derivatives research group at BNP/Cooper Neff, Inc. doing mathematical modeling and computer programming for four years before leaving in June 1999 to start his own venture.
