Horizon Bank provides banking services. Horizon bank which began as an independent bank is still operating as a strong independent bank serving the community’s needs. In 1994 the Bank of Fyffe purchased the Bank of Powell. The Sylvania branch was built shortly after the addition of the Powell branch.
