About company

Horao has been founded in 2006 as a spin-off company of ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) with the objective to develop and market innovative display systems. The original idea was conceived by Martina B. Eberle and was further developed with two more partners to specify and build the first prototype: Christoph Niederberger from the Computer Graphics Laboratory of ETH Zurich who developed the proprietary software to create content for NOVA and run the entire system and Supercomputing Systems AG who provided the technical specification, design and development of NOVA's hardware.
