Hop-Cube develops marketing services that allow manufacturers to communicate about their sustainability commitment, and consumers to access easily the environmental information about products in any places. Hop-Cube emphasizes a paradox: the consumer is looking for more environmental information about the products it buys, but actually there are only a few (and often confusing) data on marketplaces. So, Hop-Cube developed an ecological scoring of consumer goods, called the HopScore, which can be displayed on marketplaces (online and offline), on a real time basis and with wide product coverage (90% of a product catalogue can be covered). As a result, the solution helps buyers to make better informed purchasing decisions and feel more responsible. Beside, it allows the manufacturers to communicate widely about their sustainability-aware KPIs. On a long term basis, a tendency towards the conception of more eco-friendly appliances will be revealed as well.
