Hawaii Tech Exchange, HITX, is a community space created to bring together talented individuals and innovative businesses in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) community. They operate a membership directory for Students, Individuals, Organizations and Companies in STEAM and related fields. You can join HITX here. They provide Workshops, Training, and Mentoring to individuals interested in honing their skills or launching a STEAM oriented business. You can see a list of upcoming HITX events here. They also provide a community meeting venue in downtown Hilo informally known as “The Exchange“. The Exchange hosts a variety of related interest groups including: a Writer’s Group, Game Developer Group, App Developer Group and more.
