About company

HiRISE is a high-resolution imaging science experiment on board the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO). It is capable of unprecedented high-resolution imaging of the Mars surface with up to 30cm or pixel sampling at a 300km altitude. HiRISE was launched in 2005 and is operated by the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory at the University of Arizona.
