Heliosearch is an open-source engineering and consulting firm that helps customers apply Solr technology to a wide range of search and Big Data use cases. The firm works hand-in-hand with customers to understand their business problems and then engineers the optimal open source solutions to meet their needs as well as those of the greater Solr community. Its best practice advisory support service helps customers implement Solr on their own. Heliosearch’s Certified Backporting Service enables customers to submit a request for the Jira they would like backported, and get it evaluated and fixed by its Engineering Lab, and if appropriate get it knowledgeably applied back to their production version of Solr. All backported bug fixes are regression tested and certified for production use. Heliosearch is based in San Mateo, California, United States.
