HealthStatus LLC was formed in 1998 (reorganized as an LLC in 2016), and is a privately held company located in Indianapolis, Indiana. By using the algorithms from the Healthier People project of the Carter Center of Emory University, an Internet based health risk assessment was created, along with several calculators to take a quick snapshot of a person’s health. This coincided with the mission of HealthStatus: To enable people to quickly and easily determine and track the status of their health and health risks compared to U.S. national averages, and scientific standards. They continue on this mission by adding more assessments and calculators and making them available to consumers by visiting their site. Their tools are also available for license by other websites, please visit HRA.net if you are interested in adding their assessments to your website, or using them in your wellness program.
