The Happiness Research Organisation (HRO) is an independent research institute, based in Düsseldorf Germany, that is specialized in app-based studies with a focus on constructs such as satisfaction, subjective well-being, happiness and quality of life. HRO works for public institutions (e.g. the German Institute for Economic Research, different statistical offices, etc.), universities (e.g. researcher from Cambridge University, the University College London, etc.) and corporates (e.g. Accenture, Coca Cola, etc.). The project teams mainly consist of psychologists, computer scientists and economists. The scientific board consists of different highly renowned researchers depending on the project to secure highest scientific and ethical standards.
