About company

Handaxe Community Interest Company was founded in 2014 by David Coyle and Gary O’Reilly. We are a not-for-profit company dedicated to designing new tools to support child and adolescent mental health services. Our name, Handaxe, reflects the ways in which new tools evolve over time to complement existing skills. We aim to develop computer-based tools that complement traditional therapeutic approaches and also offer new opportunities for engaging with young people.
