About company
Hadopi is an institution solely dedicated to the distribution of works and the protection of rights on the Internet. It sets a precedent of a new kind, which will in itself bring about a turn in how discussion is engaged and problems addressed, when it comes to copyright on the Internet. Hadopi is specialised. All of its human and financial resources are focused on addressing a single topic: copyright on the Internet. Like all institutions in the French Republic, it serves its functions, guided by the aim of protecting the general interest. As an independent body, it is open to all viewpoints advocated, whatever the source, and knows how to strike a balance between them as it takes action.
