Jussi Haanpaa founded Haanpaa in 1949, with its headquarters in Vantaa in Finland. Haanpaa has branches in Oulu and Hamina in Finland; Helsingborg and Göteborg in Sweden, Fredrikstad in Norway, Tallinn in Estonia, Saint Petersburg and Moscow in Russia, and Barendrecht in the Netherlands. It now operates as a subsidiary of Groupe Samat SA since July 12, 2016.
