The Skinny is a widget tab that website owners can add to their site to display instant updates with Twitter, 140 characters at a time. The Skinny opens from a fixed tab location on any webpage and displays the most recent tweet linked to the widget in a non invasive overlay window. Once the tab is live on a website, the website owner can simply update the tab via a tweet. Not only do followers get the update but anyone visiting a site quickly gets the latest updates in a simple, easy-to-digest format.
