TreeHouse is a widely adopted mobile photo sharing application. It was launched in 2010, four months before Instagram, and ultimately acqui-hired by Google in early 2011. Treehouse is publicly cited as an inspiration for Instagram by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger.
