GlucoMetrix AG was founded in 2001. It has 3 major subsidiaries that concentrate on different aspects of enhancing the quality of life for people suffering from diabetes. GlucoMetrix NIB GmbH develops medical devices for measuring blood sugar non-invasively, i.e. without puncturing the skin. GlucoMetrix PVS GmbH develops a new production method for insulin which promises a purer insulin with less side effects. GlucoMetrix Pharma VV GmbH develops, manufactures and markets medicinal products related to wound healing. These are particularly suited for diabetic wounds.
