Global Orthopaedic Technology (Global) was established in 1999 in response to a growing desire for local design and manufacturing within orthopaedics in Australia. Global’s initial strategy was to establish itself as a distributor of orthopaedic implants, whilst using this revenue to fund the commercialisation of locally designed and manufactured products. 14 years on, Global is a well established orthopaedic business, with a significant footprint throughout Australia and developing influence in Asia, the USA and Europe.
