Girl Geek Dinners is a community group that create and run events around the world for women who class themselves as geeky. Men are invited to attend these events by women who go to them as each woman has an invite to give to a man of her choosing at each event. The aim of these events are to break down stereotypes, inspire and encourage those in the industry to stay there and bring in new blood into the industry. Girl Geek Dinners started in London and has extensive reach worldwide and is currently looking to gain charitable status in the UK and abroad.
