GiftPulse is a smartphone app enabling users to easily send physical gifts from your smartphone. Giftpulse also provides a recommendation engine utilizing social media data to suggest gifts based on the users social media data such as favourite Books, Movies, etc. One of the largest problems associated with modern gift giving that we hope to solve is not knowing what to buy someone. Other issues we hope to resolve include the necessity for physical presence in the store, having to ask for someone's home address and so on. Our unique value lies in the fact that we are a small, diverse, highly skilled team with no corporate affiliations providing a level of innovation and strategic agility that is very hard to achieve in larger corporations.
