About company
The giCentre is based in the Department of Computer Science at City University London. They specialise in developing and applying new techniques for visualizing data. This ranges from visualization of 'big data' to personalised data presentation; from visual analytics to visual story telling; from cartography and GIS to statistical graphics. They are a team of 14 academics and researchers with expertise in information visualization, cartography, design, computer graphics, human-computer interaction and geographic information science. As well as innovating in information and analytic visualization, They work extensively with a range of applied practitioners. Some of the clients They have worked with include Transport for London, Nokia, eon energy, MediaCom, Unruly Media, Willis Group, Leicestershire County Council, the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory and the BBC.
