GetEvents has created one of the biggest events databases in the world (over 3M live events). They collect events via APIs, their own crawlers, and from their users. Their first product is for website owners, which helps them create a beautiful and automatic events listings page. With their technology, they can customize their page per location (city), categories (music, tech, sports, etc.) and the design (colors). This product was a test for their events API (freemium model). Please review this example of one of their events listings pages, which was created by a GetEvents user from Berlin: http://iloveberlin.berlin/. After 6 months of testing, they are now opening their Events API. They decided that the travel industry is their first target market to integrate events data on top of the destination services they offer today. Consumer product will be ready at the beginning of 2015!
