Users upload their contact details and social links, and can choose what information they share with who. Colleagues might only be able to access professional information whilst friends might be granted access to social networks. When a user adds, removes or updates a specific contact detail on their Gentoo profile, all of the contacts that have been granted access to that information will receive the change instantly. This removes the time-consuming process of informing contacts individually, or broadcasting your new details publicly.
