Genmedica Therapeutics is a development-stage biotechnology company focused on type 2 diabetes. They believe that although there are a number of oral drug classes that effectively lower glycemia, in fact, there are currently no good diabetes drugs. Namely, drugs that lower glycemia and are disease modifiers: slowing or halting the progression of the disease. Genmedica Therapeutics was founded in 2004 and is based in Barcelona, Spain.
