General Construction Company has been a part of the Kiewit family of companies since July 2001. They are a privately-held, employee-owned heavy construction contractor with marine, industrial, heavy-civil, and design-build capabilities. Their marine and heavy-civil work takes us up and down the West Coast of the United States and British Columbia. Their work includes the construction of bridges, piers, marinas, breakwaters, jetties, dam upgrades, ferry terminals, submarine cables, and outfalls. In the industrial market, They have constructed and upgraded facilities for manufacturers of aircraft, petro-chemical, and pulp and paper products. Involvement with Their fellow Kiewit companies has allowed us to work on several projects on the East Coast and Gulf Coast of the United States, as well as in Canada.
