Founded in 2007, as Hyperion Power Generation Inc., Gen4 Energy is a private company formed to commercialize the Gen4 Module, an advanced technology mini reactor. Based on intellectual property developed by scientists at Los Alamos National Laboratory and leveraging forty years of technological advancement, the Gen4 Module was designed to fill a previously unmet need for a physically small and transportable power source that is safe, clean, sustainable, and cost-efficient.
