GearTrack is an online community and database dedicated to preventing music gear theft and aiding in its recovery. It is a web-based service to use for organizing, exchanging, and protecting all types of music gears. GearTrack is a small start-up that is driven by the community and this online-based support system is centered on individual instrument listings for all genres of music. GearTrack was founded in 2012 by [Bridget Driessen](http://www.crunchbase.com/person/bridget-driessen) and is based in Homewood, I.L.
