Through its wholly owned Colombian subsidiary, Galway Gold holds an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Reina de Oro gold concession, home of the El Volcan Mine, in the Vetas gold district of Colombia. El Volcan, which has been in operation for over 400 years and is still operating today, is the largest mine in the Vetas-California-Surata region of Colombia.
