Galapagos Acupuncture in Manhattan was established in 2008. Its founder, Dr. Ziki Dekel (L.Ac.), is a nationally certified and licensed acupuncturist, who practices traditional Chinese medicine, including herbal treatment. He also specializes in natural fertility and perinatal care, coordinating care with local infertility doctors. Dr. Dekel has a doctoral degree in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, which is above the norm of most acupuncturists, who have a Master's degree. Prior to his training in acpuncture, Dr. Dekel received his Bachelor's degree from Brown University.
