Gaia RE is a privately owned company, established in 2017 to identify, finance, build and own commercial solar projects in the UK and Europe In a non-subsidised renewables environment. Gaia RE is positioned to become the leading UK and European developer of PPA supported commercial and utility scale solar projects. It aspires to acquire and/or develop a minimum of 250MW of commercial solar projects by the end of 2019. Ultimately it plans to develop up to 2GW of installed solar capacity within the next 3 years.
