Futura Royalties operates in the oil and gas business and buys royalty interests under the best companies. In the early days, they followed the money all the way to the Gulf Coast Basin, buying royalty interests under the best companies in the exploration business. Now, their focus has shifted to the Niobrara Shale in Colorado and Wyoming; which is enjoying dramatic growth. Futura Royalties was founded in 2003 and is based in Dallas, Texas.
