Funespaña has focused on the provision of funeral services and cemetery management. Funespaña is the first independent Spanish group of funeral services and one of the most important in Europe in the sector. It was founded in 1990. The staff that covers all the services provided by Grupo Funespaña exceeds 1,220 workers. Funespaña maintains an ambitious Training Plan whereby the emphasis is placed on the professionalization of all its personnel, with technical courses of Tanatopraxia or Cremaciones, as well as courses of Attention to Families and Funeral Protocol. Another important characteristic of our companies is that of continuous work, since we remain open and working 24 hours a day in each and every one of our work centers. Funespaña currently provides services directly, through its own centers and offices in 21 provinces, where it has 140 funeral homes, 17 crematoriums and 28 cemeteries.
