Founded by [Philip Kaplan](http://www.crunchbase.com/person/philip-kaplan), the site gained notoriety for its reporting of rumors/reports of layoffs and closures at Silicon Valley technology companies during the dot-com bust. The site has not posted any new content since 2007.
