Free DNS is an online platform offering free DNS hosting, dynamic DNS hosting, static DNS hosting, subdomain, and domain hosting. The platform is largely community driven. Its users are able to sign up and use their own custom domains with the service, but when they do so that domain becomes available to all other members. If its users do not have their own domain, they are free to create up to 5 sub-domains of any of the domains it has in the user pool. Some of the domain options of Free DNS have vanity qualities and are memorable, such as “pwnz.org”, “undo.it”, or “info.tm”. It is based in Granite Bay, C.A.
