“FRARE FOOD FACTORY” was established in Yamanashi prefecture. We call it a factory which is our studio for producing handcrafted premium non-alcohol wine with care, where skilled persons collect, select and squeeze the grapes with their hands and eyes. “Pj 珠” (pː dʒéi dʒu) is a newly coined word which combines “Pj” for 100% pure juice, and a Kanji character “ 珠” (dʒu) for gem, pronounced as the French word “jus” for juice, in which grapes are compared to a gem. Production of the “Pj 珠” range is supervised by Mr. Takashi Atsuta, the “Contemporary Master Craftsman”. This brand of old-fashioned handcrafted premium non-alcohol wine is extracted only from wine grape varieties. Many of the wine grape varieties have a high sugar content of more than 20 degrees Brix, creating a unique sweetness and richness. The rate of extraction is the same as wine, hereby achieving a unique purity. This is why the “Pj 珠” range is available as sugarfree and additive-free.
